| Rams Sweep at
Monroe’s Spring Invitational |
The EW Rams
played three matches in this
weekend’s Monroe Spring
Invitational, winning all three
matches and outscoring their
opponents 9 to 1.
Two shutouts, seven different goal
scorers, and wins over U-9
Spotswood, U-10 Marlboro Thunder
Gold, and U-10 Manalapan Cosmos are
highlights following the superb
performance of the East Windsor Rams
on Saturday.
Keepers Jack Metzheiser and Jamal
Anderson each earned a shutout, and
stellar defense by Umair Sayeed, TJ
Korsah, Christian and Christopher
Coridon thwarted the attack for most
of the afternoon. “We do this all
afternoon,” is just one of the
slogans created by the strong
defensive unit.
Sean Dailey (2), Jamal Anderson (2),
Thomas Prummer, Charlie Hulme,
Gregory Ewanis, Christopher and
Christian Coridon all found net in
the three-match tournament. David
Winick and Tyler Paul played very
well in guiding the Rams past three
tough opponents.
