EW Rams & Freehold Strikers Tie
The archrivals and two leading teams in MOSA National-2 battled each other to a 1-1 tie Sunday afternoon in Freehold. It was another closely contested match between the two teams, and surely the Rams most competitive match of the spring season.

After falling behind by a goal early in the first half of the match, the Rams battled tirelessly to gain the equalizer against the Freehold Strikers. Tyler Paul nearly snatched his first of the season, and Thomas Prummer came oh so close to the game tying goal in a hard fought first half.

Then, in the 35th minute of the match, the Rams hard work paid off and the equalizer was delivered. Charlie Hulme distributed a back pass to Gregory Ewanis, who one-timed a pass across the 18yd line to an open Sean Dailey. Sean took a dribble to the left and fired a blast over the keeper’s head to even the score 1-1.

The stingy Rams defense of Umair Sayeed, TJ Korsah, Gregory Ewanis, Christian and Christopher Coridon limited the Freehold Strikers chances to few, and Jamal Anderson made two saves in holding the opponent to one goal.

Next Sunday the Rams (4-0-1) host the Old Bridge Tigers (2-2-1) at 3pm.

Way to go Rams!
