Rams Effort Falls Short
Our East Windsor Rams traveled to Freehold in search of a third consecutive victory on Sunday and an early first half goal by Sean made it a seem like a reality. A sensational individual effort moving through Freehold defenders gave Sean Dailey the room he needed to blast a shot past the keeper.

However, Freehold quickly tied the match with a penalty kick and later took a lead that they would not relinquish in defeating our Rams 3-2 on Sunday. A tremendous sideline run and goal by Christian gave the Rams a second goal of the match early in the second half. Christian’s tally seemed to ignite the Rams effort for the rest of the match, but they could not score an equalizer before the final whistle blew.

The team had strong crosses from Greg, Gio and David throughout the match. Christopher, Thomas, Jack, TJ, Tyler, and Charlie challenged for the ball with great determination. Oliver and Umair made strong team contributions, and Jamal made a few sensational saves as our keeper.

The Rams are playing well as a team and they look to continue their strong effort next Sunday when they host Marlboro Blue. Come out and support our Rams on Sunday!
